Ebay Econ-o-meter?

Mainly for exposure, I listed several pieces of Artsfish Design Studio jewelry on Ebay at a substantial discount. Now, I know that it is summer and historically items sell slower during the season when anyone with a life is out and about - but the auction results were disturbing. Nothing is selling. Not just my items, but everything in similar categories.
Things that are selling; items that are much more vital to people’s lives than jewelry. It isn’t a far leap to say that this is another worrisome trend in the ever-plunging economy. I am wondering if I list on the UK ebay if items would sell considering that with the exchange rate for the British pound, everything is basically half price.
